Biography
Wafa Al Hosni is currently working as an EFL Lecturer in the Foundation Program, Modern College of Business and Science with specific expertise in teaching English language skills. She graduated from Sultan Qaboos University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 2010. She also completed her M.A. in TESOL Studies from the University of Leeds, UK, in 2013. Since then, she has constantly been working in the field of teaching. She has been teaching different language skills that are related to listening, speaking, note-taking, critical thinking, reading, writing, and grammar. She also worked as a course coordinator which helped her develop important skills in various areas like materials design, assessment and evaluation, and curriculum development. She presented a paper at the Future of Education Conference in Italy in 2015. She attended many conferences and workshops related to education, and her main interest is to find out new practical teaching strategies and methods, which can help language teachers, learners, and educational institutions.
