Biography

Firdous Jahan MBBS, MCPS,FCPS is an Associate Professor, Head of Family Medicine FAMCO Department in Oman Medical College-Sohar, Sultanate Of Oman. Her research interest include Family medicine, Non communicable diseases, Research, Woman’s’ health. Dr. Firdous Jahan is a Chair Institutional research review Board, Coordinating research member in North batinah region. She has graduated in MBBS (1st class first position)as a (Gold Medalist) in 1986, Fellowship in FCPS Medicine from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan 2001, Membership in MCPS Family Medicine from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in 1998. Have overall responsibility for the conduct of the academic and service mandate of the department, consistent with the mission and policies of the Oman Medical College, Visiting faculty of Aga Khan University as Consultant Family Medicine Faculty of Health Sciences.
