Amanda Derr

Biography

Amanda has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting and just over 18 years of experience in the CRO industry. Her forward-thinking insight and diligent determination help ensure that Rho remains profitable, enabling us to keep dreaming big. Her industry experience helps drive sound business decisions, and her ability to motivate people with contrasting opinions toward a common purpose makes her an integral member of Rho’s leadership team. Amanda is responsible for strategic planning and forecasting, and because she engages in all areas of our business, she possesses an invaluable understanding of Rho’s end-to-end capabilities. A graduate of Guilford College, Amanda boasts valuable experience as a finance officer. Before joining Rho in 2007, she was Vice President of Business Operations and Chief Financial Officer for Lineberry Research Associates. In addition, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Amanda enjoys spending time with family and listening to various genres of music, including her son and daughter’s band, The Commanderrs.
