Biography
Said Salim Al-Ismaily is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Studies of the Soils, Water and Agricultural Engineering Department in the Sultan Qaboos University
Research Interest
His research program endeavors to employ participatory methods, collaborative approaches, and multidisciplinary to solve complex issues pertaining to soil. In Oman, research in areas such as combating soil salinity, optimization of crop production under water scarcity, efficient use of water resources for irrigation, management of catastrophic floods, urbanization, and soil contamination via anthropogenic activities is of national priority
