Biography

The learning occurs in my course in the form of traditional lecture, lab sessions, and small-group presentation assignments. I  use Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) with the help of two soft wares EXPHARM and EP-DOG in the practical class to rejuvenate the knowledge they acquired in the theory. The CAL sessions lead to deeper, more durable learning and students can learn according to their individual pace. I employ short answer quizzes, homework assignments, mini projects and group presentations to assess student learning. I get students feedback throughout the course and implement changes in my course delivery whenever necessary. My ultimate goal is to make my students lifelong learners. I work to create my students as individuals who can understand the subject in scientific and ethical perspective and improve as health care professionals. Academic rigor blended with flexible learning environment using innovative tools and techniques are the pillars of my teaching philosophy.
