Biography

Teaching Philosophy: As a pharmaceutical chemistry teacher, my teaching encompasses didactic lectures, lab sessions, presentation as well as group discussions. I spend a great deal of time with my students discussing derivations, designing experiments, and analyzing data. I also use this approach while training the undergraduate and graduate students in medicinal chemistry laboratory. I believe that providing scientific basis regarding the chemistry of plants, its uses, handling analytical tools like spectroscopy and chromatography will equip my students to learn and research in the field of chemistry. I enjoyed helping students to achieve their course learning outcomes through these experiences. My teaching philosophy is grounded on the principle that students can promote their own thoughts, resolve problems with evidence based approach when outcome based learning process is employed.
