olid background in classical reservoir engineering principles and methods, including experience in all of the following areas: material balance analysis, fluid characterization, SCAL data interpretation, welltest interpretation, well performance, production forecasting. Experience with a range of recovery processes. Functional understanding of geology, geophysics, petrophysics and reservoir characterization issues and how they relate to reservoir performance and development planning. Able to critically discuss these matters with team members from other disciplines. Experience with numerical reservoir simulation and proficiency in Petrel, including the building/upscaling of simulation models from static models. Proficiency in industry standard analytical reservoir engineering packages, including Petex IPM Suite, Saphir, Topaz, Rubis, OFM, Petrel and PVTi.
