Syed Mohammad Wasim Jafri

Biography

He completed his M.B.B.S. from Dow Medical College in 1976 and L.R.C.P from London. He is presently employed as Associate Dean and Chair of the Department of Continuous Professional Education. He is Chair of the ACT-HBV Pakistan and Member of the ACT-HBV Asian Pacific. He is a Member of the Guidelines Committee for Asian Pacific Association for the Study of Liver Disease. He is the President of the Pakistan Society for the Study of Liver Disease & President of SAARC Liver Society. He is a member of various societies like British Society of Gastroenterology. He served as a editorial board member of various journals like Journal of World Congress of Gastroenterology.He completed his PhD.in Environmental Microbiology in 2002 from University of Madras, India. He is presently employed as Senior Research Associate in Department of Food Science at University of Arkansas. He is a member of American Society for Microbiology. He served as Ad-hoc Journal Reviewerfor many journals like International Journal of Medical Microbiology.
