Biography
Dr. Asghari Gul earned her M.Phil degree from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad and was awarded with the Chancellor‘s medal for her academic achievements. She concluded her PhD degree under the supervision of Prof. Zareen Akhter from the Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad in 2013. During her PhD, she worked on the synthesis and characterization of organometallic based material and their organic analogues. After her PhD she joined COMSATS IIT as an assistant professor. Dr. Asghari has got published papers in the reputed scientific journals like Macromolecules and RSC advances. She has a strong background in the synthesis of polymeric material (polyesters, polyamides, conjugated polymers) or in the development of their block copolymers, composites and blends (with different material like polyaniline, carbon nanotubes, silver etc.,) using various techniques.
