Biography
Dr. Faheem Aslam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Sciences at CIIT Islamabad. He earned his Master's and Ph.D. Degrees from Hanyang University Business School, Seoul, South Korea, in 2015. He was also a higher education commission (HEC) scholar and Alumni of International Islamic University, Islamabad. His research focuses on stock market efficiency, terrorism, sports sentiments and financial risk management. His recent publications include “How Different Terrorist Attacks Affect Stock Markets” in Defence and Peace Economics. He has 5 years experience of working with PTCL and OGDCL as Financial Analyst from year 2007 to 2011. He did his BBA (Hons.) and MBA (Finance) from International Islamic University, Islamabad. In 2008, he was awarded the Gold Medal, 1st Position and Distinction Certificate in MBA. Likewise, in 2007, he was honored with 2nd Position and Distinction certificates in BBA (Hons.). He also participate in the 9th Islamic Tarbiyah Course from Dawa Academy, International Islamic University.
