Biography
Dr. Ishtiaq Ali working as an Associate Professor at Department of Mathematics, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) Islamabad since January 2014. From July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013 he worked as a Marie Currie Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Warsaw, Poland. He join CIIT in 2002 as a Research Associate and was promoted to Lecture in 2004 and then to Assistant Professor in 2008. He did his Ph.D in Computational Mathematics from Institute of Computational Mathematics, Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing in 2008. He was an exchange research student at Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong from January, 2007 to June, 2007. He did his MS in 2005 from CIIT Islamabad and MSc in 2000 from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. He presented his research work in most technological advanced countries like USA, UK, France, Belgium, Norway and Poland etc. His research interest includes Numerical Solutions of Delay differential and Integral Equations, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Biomathematics and Financial Mathematics.
