Dr. Muhammad Inam Afzal earned his PhD from University of Lorraine, France. He studied physiology and technological aspects of a lactic acid bacterium of genus Carnobacterium in food biopreservation. He conducted his PhD research in Laboratory of Biomolecules Engineering and Laboratory of Reactions and Process Engineering. He published several articles in international high impact factor journals. He is currently working as Assistant Professor of Food Microbiology at Department of BioSciences, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad. His research mainly focussed on Food Microbiology, Food Safety, Dairy Science and Technology and Metabolic Pathways Engineering.
