Dr. Muhammad Qasim
Assistant Professor
Mathematics ,
Comsats Institute of Information Technology
Pakistan
Biography
Dr. Muhammad Qasim received his Ph.D in Applied Mathematics from Quaid-i-Azam, University, Islamabad-Pakistan in 2011. He joined the CIIT faculty in Mathematics in August 2011, since then he has been working as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Qasim is fluid dynamists who has worked on the boundary layer flows of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, heat and mass transfer analysis, but now concentrating on the mathematical modelling of biofluids (Peristaltic flows), Nano fluids and applications of mathematical methods to the problems arising in the modelling of non-linear physical sciences. He published various research articles in ISI indexed journals of the field having good impact factor. Most of the research papers have received tremendous citations during recent years. In 2012, he received research productivity awards by Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) and CIIT.
