Biography
I finished my PhD degree at The University of Western Australia in 2016. I am currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Wah Campus. My primary research area is computer vision and machine learning. My other research interests include image processing, hyperspectral image analysis and spectroscopy. During my research journey, I have contributed to the problems of domain adaptation, face recognition from hyperspectral images and crowd flow analysis. Currently, I am interested in exploring deep learning, in-vehicle computer vision systems and hand gesture recognition from RGBD videos.
