Biography
Shurjeel Wyne received his BSc in Electrical Engineering with Honors from UET Lahore, Pakistan (1995) and his MS in Digital Communications from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden (2003). He obtained a PhD in Wireless Communications from Lund University, Lund, Sweden (2009). From 2009 to 2010 he was a post-doctoral research fellow funded by the High-Speed Wireless Center at the same university. Dr Shurjeel has worked on measurements and characterization of radio channels for multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems, ultra-wideband (UWB) systems and sensor networks. His current research interests are in Cooperative Communications, MIMO systems, and in Array Processing. He is a regular reviewer for a number of prestigious international journals such as the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, the IEEE Transactions on Communications, and the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology. He has also served as a TPC member for various international conferences.
