Biography
Abdul Samad is the Chief Financial Officer/ Finance Director for Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan and joined the Board of Directors of GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Limited in August, 2015. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and has previously served as Auditor Manager at PricewaterCoopers (PwC) Pakistan. Abdul Samad joined GSK in 2002 and during his 13 years of association with the company he gained diversified experience in multiple markets by working on various financial roles, covering Business Partnering, Shared Service, Compliance/Internal Audit and Supply chain. Prior to this, he has also undertaken secondment assignments in GSK Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
