Asif Misbah

Biography

A business graduate from the Institute of Business Administration (Karachi) is the Chairman and Managing Director of Macter. He has been associated with Macter since 1994 and has played a key role in Macter’s evolution as a leading pharmaceutical company of Pakistan. Some of the important initiatives which he led include: Developing the corporate intent, mission statements and the core values; Sharia audit and compliance process; Continuous improvement of management systems based on BSC principles; Continuous improvement of Corporate Governance processes; Strategic investments in technically difficult areas such as MDIs and Biologic formulations. He serves in the Board of various NGOs in the education and health sector. He is current Chairman of PPMA’s Committee on Biologics and previously was also Chairman of the Pharma Ethics Committee. He is frequently invited to give talks on personal excellence and leadership especially on youth forums.
