Biography

Dr. Ghalib A. Shah, IEEE Senior Member, is adjunct Professor at department of Computer Science a and Sultan Qaboos IT Co-Chair at UET Lahore. Previously, he worked at Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science, UET Lahore from 2012-2016 and established Internet of Things (IoT) Lab. He received many research grants from HEC and ICT R & D Fund and several projects are in progress at this Lab. He started his academic carrier at College of E&ME, National University of Sciences & Technology Islamabad as an Assistant Professor in 2007. He has been at School of Computer Science, Australian National University as a visiting fellow during 2009-10. Later, Dr Shah moved to Center for Advanced Research in Engineering (CARE), Islamabad as a member Technical Staff and led various networking projects for one year. He also worked at Next Generation Wireless Networks Lab, Koc University, Istanbul as a Research fellow. Dr Shah received his B.Sc. degree with major Math and M.Sc degree in Computer Science from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Pakistan in 1997 and 2000 respectively and PhD degree in computer engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara Turkey in January 2007.
