Biography
Dr. Sibt ul Hussain is currently an Assistant Professor at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Islamabad. Before joining NUCES, he was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Caen (GREYC), France. Earlier, he completed his PhD in Computer Vision (Visual Object Detection) from University of Grenoble (Laboratoire Jean Kuntzmann), France. He also holds an MS degree in Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing from École Supérieure d'Électricité (Supélec), France.
Research Interest
His main research interests include visual recognition (object detection, image classification, face recognition, etc.), machine learning and programming. He is also the lead scientist of the ReVeaL (Recognition, Vision and Learning) research group at FAST-NUCES Islamabad.
