Arie Ovadia

Biography

Prof. Arie Ovadia serves as Director at Oil Refineries Ltd. since March 17, 2010. He is a member of the Audit, Compensation, Finance, Balance Sheets and Investments committees. His work experience includes the following roles: Business Consultant of accounting, taxation, financial management and investments, Director at a variety of public and private companies, Lecturer and Researcher of Accounting, Finance and Economics at the Israel College of Management, Professor at the School of Business Administration at Tel-Aviv University, Lecturer at the Israel Management Center and at the Open University, Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting at Temple University in Pennsylvania, U.S.A., Guest Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting at New York University in New York, U.S.A. and former Chairman of the Board at Israel Phoenix Insurance Company Ltd. Prof. Ovadia holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Economics and a MBA degree, both from Tel-Aviv University and a Doctorate in Philosophy degree in Economics from The Wharton School, of the University of Pennsylvania.
