Biography
Mr. Athar Iqbal is serving The Searle Company Limited as Director HR and the Group Head-HR for subsidiaries. As an HR professional with Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, from Karachi University and PGD in Human Resource Management from IBA, Mr. Iqbal has been associated with the group for the last 14 years. During this tenure, he has led Human Resources Department, covering all areas from transactional level to transformational level. Prior to Searle, he was engaged with Dewan Farooq Motors. Amongst his certifications attained, he is a Certified Human Resource Professional from PIQC and holds HR and IR certification from Human Resource and Industry Development Association, Japan. Mr. Iqbal is also an active visiting faculty member at Karachi University where he teaches HR to the post graduate students
