Biography
Mr. Irfan Akram is serving as Director Marketing & Business Operations for a Searle subsidiary SLPL , responsible for hospital solutions and Surgical/ Medical Disposable products since 2013. He earned a bachelor degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, and an M.B.A. from IBA Karachi. With over 16 years of experience in driving sales and marketing for different national and multinational companies, he climbed his career ladder from a junior manager to a senior executive of a German multinational (B.Braun.) where he spent 8 years and ended up leading its Pakistan pharmaceuticals business. He then became Divisional head of B.Braun Pakistan, responsible for its pharmaceuticals and medical products divisions, and was appointed to its Board of Directors in 2010.
