Biography

Mr. Ishtiaque Ahmad is working as Lecturer in the Department of Dairy Technology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. (Hons) degrees in Food Technology from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. Mr. Ishtiaque Ahmad’s fundamental expertise is in the field of Dairy Science and Technology, especially development of value added dairy products and to explore their impact on human health. He has seven and half year’s versatile experience of different dairy industries of Pakistan in both fields of quality and production. The dairy industries he served are Pakistan Milkfoods Pvt. Ltd. Jhang, Shakar Ganj Foods Pvt. Ltd. Jaranwala and KNK Foods Pvt. Ltd. Lahore. After the versatile experience of private dairy industries he was appointed in the HEC funded project titled “Dairy Training & Development Center” Department of Dairy Technology Ravi Campus, Pattoki, as a Dairy Trainer in October 2009. He was the part of the core team involved in the erection, installation and processing of pasteurized milk under this HEC funded project. Currently he is working as lecturer from December 2011. He is involved in teaching, research and other academic activities in the Department of Dairy Technology. Currently he is also supervising as well as member of supervisory committees of postgraduate students working in the field of milk processing. Mr. Ishtiaque Ahmad being the member of Pakistan Society of Food Scientists & Technologists is contributing for the uplift of scientific knowledge in the field of Food Science & Technology. He is also secretary Board of Studies (BOS) Department of Dairy Technology UVAS.
