Biography
Professor Ferrannini has had extensive training in nuclear medicine and internal medicine – specializing in diabetes studies and received a Certificate of the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates from the University of Bologna. Prof. Ferrannini served as President to the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD). Prof. Ferrannini additionally completed, cum laude, a subspecialty in Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases from the University of Torino.
