Biography
Timothy Schofield, M.A., Head, Nonclinical Statistics Services, Arlenda, Inc.; Co-Chair, Statistics Expert Committee, USP Timothy Schofield is a Senior Fellow and head of Regulatory Sciences in the Analytical Biochemisty department at Medimmune. Prior to joining Medimmune Tim worked at GSK in US Regulatory Affairs supporting vaccines, and at the Merck Research Laboratories heading the Nonclinical Statistics unit supporting development and manufacture of Merck pharmaceuticals, biologics and vaccines. Tim is an active member of the statistical and life sciences communities, helping to develop and implement risk based strategies in pharmaceutical development and control. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics in 1973 from Lafayette College, Easton, PA, and a Master of Arts degree in Statistics and Operations Research in 1976 from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
