Biography
Epidemiologist (MD UPCH 1981, Ph.D. LSHTM 1990, studies in Statistics, Mathematics and Informatics). Professor and Researcher at the Cayetano Heredia University (Mathematics, Tropical Medicine, Public Health) since 1975. Chief of Computer UPCH 1985-2007 and consultant in epidemiological research. Interest in study, foundations and methodology development for (a) design of studies and analysis of data in epidemiology, with emphasis on information systems, monitoring, monitoring and evaluation, particularly its statistical, mathematical and computer aspects applied to health problems of developing regions; (b) optimum sample design, generalized linear model, multivariate modeling and data visualization; and (c) architecture and relational modeling with web service interfaces and rapid development. Teacher and Coordinator of the courses: Database I, Database II, Selected Topics in Application Development I, Thesis Seminar II.
