Eduardo Hochschild Beeck

Biography

Mr. Eduardo Hochschild Beeck serves as Chairman of the Board of Cementos Pacasmayo S.A.A. since April 25, 2017. Before that, he served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company since April 25, 2011 and between July 27, 1999 and 2008, when he became Chairman of the Board. He has been on the Company's Board since April 3, 1991. He was also appointed as Member of the Company's Executive Committee on October 10, 2011 and serves as Chairman of the Company's Executive Committee on May 15, 2013. In addition, he acted as Executive President of Hochschild Mining PLC and la Asociacion Promotora TECSUP, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Inversiones Pacasmayo SA, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Patronato de Plata del Peru and Fosfatos del Pacifico SA, as well as Member of the Board of Directors of Salmueras Sudamericanas SA, Banco de Credito del Peru, El Pacifico Peruano-Suiza Compania de Seguros y Reaseguros, Sociedad de Comercio Exterior del Peru (COMEX PERU), Sociedad Nacional de Mineria and Petroleo y Energia. He is Trustee of Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria (PUNI). He has also been Member of ABAC Peru (APEC Business Advisory Council) and Advisor of Economico de la Conferencia Episcopal. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics, both from the Tufts University in Boston, the United States.
