Siddhartha Bhattacharya

Biography

Siddhartha Bhattacharya is responsible for the overall development, management, and leadership of the activities of ACCESS Health International in India. His responsibilities include the establishment of collaborations and management of partnerships with government and the public and private sectors as well as with research and development organizations.

Research Interest

Previously, Siddhartha served as chief operating officer and technology head for the Emergency Management and Research Institute of GVK. The Institute delivers integrated emergency response and technology driven health outreach services to seventeen states and union territories in India through public private partnerships. In prior leadership roles, he has worked with Dell, Inc, (USA), Philips (India), and the government of Kerala in a number of cross functional global assignments. Siddhartha holds a Bachelor's degree with honors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan. He also received his Master's in Business Administration from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. In addition, Siddhartha received an Executive Scholar certificate in sales and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Siddhartha is interested in people, projects, and alliances that thrive on rapid change, scale, and globalization. He likes to mentor promising startups in his personal time.
