Biography
Selby received his B.A. in Bacteriology from the University of California, Berkeley and his Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of California, San Francisco. He conducted his post-doctoral research in the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was responsible for investigating the mechanism of Tat transactivation of the HIV-1 LTR.
