Biography
Mr. Timothy Campos, also known as Tim, served as the Chief Information Officer of Facebook, Inc. from August 2010 to November 2016 and also served as its Vice President of Information Technology. Mr. Campos was one of the early executives at Facebook. Mr. Campos has been a Long Advocate and Board Member for YearUp, a Bay Area nonprofit that serves urban youth. During his tenure at Facebook, he was responsible for helping to double employee productivity while also supporting over 20x growth in Facebook's business. Prior to Facebook, Mr. Campos served as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology at KLA-Tencor and led the implementation of several major enterprise systems. In his career, he was responsible for overseeing Engineering and the hosting architecture at Portera Systems. Mr. Campos started a new venture, Pulsra, where he is applying his two decades of experience in enterprise software, big data and machine learning to workforce productivity. Mr. Campos has more than 22 years of industry experience, including deep insight into the expansion of cloud networks, enterprise and data center technologies. He has been a Director of Rackspace Hosting, Inc. since February 27, 2017. He has been a Director of Viavi Solutions Inc. since April 15, 2014. He is on the Dean's Advisory Circle and the Board of Directors for the Fisher IT Center at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and is also on the advisory board for several Silicon Valley startups.
