Charibeth K. Cheng is an assistant professor of the Software Technology Department of the College of Computer Studies at De La Salle University, and is interested in developing efficient algorithms to process text written in Filipino to make the language understandable to the computer. Her areas of expertise are on information extraction, sentiment analysis, and automated discourse analysis.
