Christianne F. Collantes

Dr. Christianne Collantes is an Associate Professor of Political Science at De La Salle University, Manila, whose research interests include gender politics, reproduction, globalization and global political economy. She recently completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, and obtained her Doctoral Degree in Gender Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London in 2016. Her recent published works can be found in Critical Asian Studies and South East Asia Research, and her forthcoming book Reproductive Dilemmas in Metro Manila: Faith, Intimacies, and Globalization will be available in print under Palgrave MacMillan UK in the Spring of 2018. Since 2014, she has been a Committee Member and Co-Organizer of Southeast Asia Symposium, sponsored by Oxford University, and provided research expertise and consultancy to various non-profit and non-governmental organizations in Toronto, Rome, and Manila. She is currently serving as the department’s Undergraduate Thesis Coordinator.
