Biography
Obtained the PhD in Engineering (Coastal Engineering) degree from Kagoshima University, Japan, the Master of Engineering degree Specializing in Environmental Science and Technology from UNESCO-IHE in Delft, the Netherlands; and BSCE degree from University of San Carlos in Cebu. Has 5 years teaching experience in De La Salle University, 13 years teaching experience in the University of San Carlos, and 3 years of construction industry experience. Attended and participated in local and international conferences and have published papers in journals and conference proceedings. Taught civil engineering courses both in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Involved in an international Joint Research and Field Survey on Storm Surge(Typhoon Haiyan 2013) in collaboration with universities and institutes in Japan and Vietnam.
