Era, Marlon D.

Biography

Dr. Marlon de Luna Era is a Faculty Member at De La Salle University teaching Sociology, Program Development and Gender. He has completed his Ph.D on Development Studies at De La Salle University-Manila with a Dissertation topic "Environmental Governance in Solid Waste Management in the Philippines". He has enormous professional experience on solid waste management, project management, local governance and gender and development as consultant, resource person, facilitator and moderator and researcher. Dr. Era's work is on capacity building and technical assistance in the preparation of the Solid Waste Management Plan, Gender and Development. He is currently a Project Director of a research entitled developing competencies of middle level health workers and maximizing their roles in task sharing in the Philippines. He is also a member of the Board of some professional organizations and member of professional associations including alumni association.
