Biography
Dr. Ona served as an IT consultant to the then Commission on Information and Communications Technology from 2005 to 2008 and in the ICT Office, Department of Science and Technology as part of the Medium-term Information Technology Harmonization Initiative (MITHI) from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, he became part of the Open Data in Developing Countries (ODDC) initiative of the IDRC-Canada which looks at the opportunities for using open data techniques and instruments to address development issues and challenges.
