Biography
Mr. Edwin Sybingco completed his Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Master of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering at De La Salle University in 1990 and 1993, respectively. He was a DLSU scholar during his 4th year in college. He was also trained at the University of New South Wales in signal processing during his post MS sponsored by DOST and Japan as an exchange scientist sponsored by JICA. In 2009, he was one of the mentor of Larry Labuyo, the group of students from Philippine Science to compete in the First Robotics competition held in Hawaii and the group qualified for the finals and competed again in Atlanta. The team was sponsored by Science Education Institute (SEI). Currently, Mr. Sybingco is involved in several projects with the government and other non-profit organizations. Automated Algae cultivation monitoring, Non-contact apprehension system for traffic violation, and automation of coco sugar production to name a few. For his Doctorate Degree in ECE, Mr. Sybingco is focusing on the use of as his dissertation thesis.
