Elaine Manzanero

Biography

Dr. Elaine Manzanero has been a practicing dentist for over 9 years, specializing in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. Prior to joining Dentphix in February 2012, Dr. Elaine underwent externship training in oral surgery at Philippine General Hospital (2003) and residency training in pediatric dentistry at Pediatric Dentistry Center Philippines (2006). For Dr. Elaine, going into dentistry is her way of contributing to the improvement of health services in the Philippines, particularly to indigent fellows and young children. “The majority of the Philippine population is not aware of the importance of oral health to a person’s well-being. The economic condition of our society also puts dental health at the bottom of a person’s priority list. Working as a dentist and coordinating with other health care workers gives me a sense of purpose, in helping improve the oral health of others, and sending the message that oral health is valuable, too.” Dr. Elaine obtained her degree in Dental Medicine from Centro Escolar University in 2002.
