Juan Rafael Silva

Biography

For a dentist with a young experience of 5 years, Dr. Rafa Silva is well on his way to proving that, although he’s only getting started, he already has a lot to offer the dental community. Specializing in periodontology and implant dentistry, Dr. Rafa joined DentPhix only this 2012, as he continues to pursue further education in the field: currently, he is an Advanced Diploma (Periodontology) Candidate at Hong Kong University. He obtained his Master of Dental Surgery (Periodontology) in 2011 from Hong Kong University-Peking University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines in 2007. For Dr. Rafa, dentistry was only a natural career choice, having grown up in a household that holds medical professions in high regard. “It is in dentistry that I find the perfect blending of artisan craftsmanship and innovative science,” he shares. He also adds that it is an honor to be part of the DentPhix team: “The professionalism and efficiency of the doctors and staff is a remarkable feature at DentPhix. Their perennial pursuit of quality and service differentiates them [from other dental clinics] and allows them to shine.
