Biography
"David is Leader for Sustainable Rice-based Production Systems theme and head of the Crop and Environmental Sciences Division (CESD). David has experience in rice farming systems in Central America, West Africa, and Asia. He is recognized internationally for his work on weed management in rice; he has also authored or co-authored over 70 scientific papers and two books. He is involved in projects in Myanmar on reducing risks and raising livelihoods in rice environments through improved knowledge of environment and management in the Ayeyarwaddy Delta and Central Dry Zone."
