Biography
In 2003, Mr. Iwasaki was appointed Manager of Strategic Product Planning and Project Leader for the Cardiovascular and Metabolic franchise. He was appointed Senior Vice President of the Strategic Product Planning department in 2008. In 2010, Mr. Iwasaki was named Corporate Officer. Mr. Iwasaki has been a Director and Member of the Takeda Board since 2012 and was named President of the Japan Pharma Business Unit in 2015. Mr. Iwasaki earned a doctorate in Medical Science from Juntendo University and a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences in Japan.
