De Los Santos Clinic was founded in 1949 by, Dr. Jose V. De Los Santos Sr. (known as the father of Philippine Orthopaedics) and his wife, Doña Pacita V. De Los Santos. De Los Santos medical center prenatal package includes a set of procedures to assess the health of expectant mothers to ensure safe pregnancy. The prenatal package includes a complete blood count, fasting blood sugar test, Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) test, pelvic or transvaginal ultrasound, ABO (blood) typing and venereal disease research laboratory (VDRL) / syphilis test. De Los Santos medical center men’s package includes a set of basic diagnostic tests which include comprehensive medical history & physical examination, complete blood count, urinalysis, lipid profile/coronary risk panel (cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, VLDL cholesterol, triglycerides), ultrasound of KUB (Kidney, Ureters & Bladder), ultrasound of the prostate, creatinine, prostate specific antigen (PSA) test (for ages 40 years and above) and urologist evaluation. De Los Santos pre-employment package evaluates a person’s physical fitness before being recruited. It includes a comprehensive medical history & physical examination, complete blood count, urine analysis, fecal analysis (stool test), and a chest X-ray (PA).
