Biography
Angelo Lorenzana is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal in New York. He has more than 15 years of experience in financial services that encompasses various roles in valuation services, investment and commercial banking, and financial consulting. In his current role at Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Lorenzana is a member of the Valuation Services Group and Alternative Investment Services Group where he provides valuation and advisory services to hedge funds, private equity clients, as well as public and private companies. He specializes in the valuation and financial analysis of companies and illiquid securities across various asset classes and fund strategies. Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Lorenzana was a Senior Vice President in the Financial Advisory Services Division at Houlihan Lokey. At Houlihan Lokey, he focused on valuations for alternative asset managers and executed investment banking credit-related transactions in connection with mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring. Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Lorenzana has also held positions as a management associate and credit analyst in corporate and commercial lending, a portfolio manager and assistant trust officer in asset management, a financial auditor in audit and risk management, and an analyst in financial planning. Mr. Lorenzana received a bachelor's degree in finance with a minor in political science from Rutgers School of Business and Rutgers College. He is registered with FINRA as a General Securities Representative.
