Bob Buttacavoli is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal in New York. He has led the strategy through implementation of six transformations in the $18–40 million range. These include global innovations across application and commercial software development, hybrid hosting, outsourcing and system integration. Measurable results include increased revenue and margins, increased customer satisfaction, improved productivity and quality, high-availability, and award-winning products and services. He has worked in a range of industries, including IT products and services, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, retail, legal, media and professional services. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Buttacavoli spent 12 years operating as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for LexisNexis, Knowledgepoint360, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Fidelity Investments. He was a Partner at Mercer Consulting building its HR Technology & Outsourcing practice. Over a decade, he has managed more than $150 million in software projects, which include enterprise software, SaaS, B2C, B2B and mobile. His organization and process improvement expertise has delivered a 400 percent increase in software development productivity and time to market, while accelerating innovation. He spent eight years managing five Comdisco large-scale hosting and disaster recovery (DR) facilities. Mr. Buttacavoli has led notable assignments for Alex & Ani, Oldcastle, Eli Lilly, Conagra, Federal Express and Bain. For a life sciences client, he managed the evolution of a $20 million web / mobile solution to manage regulatory compliance of physician marketing programs. For a $10 billion company, he managed the acquisition planning and rapid migration of 400 applications to hybrid service providers, reducing overall cost of ownership and minimizing business risk. He has also managed the global infrastructure strategy and implementation for clients seeking to leverage hybrid cloud solutions and network optimization.
