Biography
Bruce Krueger is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Financial Industry Advisory Services in Houston, specializing in mortgage banking, retail and commercial credit products, and bank asset-liability management and liquidity. Before joining A&M, Mr. Krueger spent 34 years with the Comptroller of the Currency, where he most recently served as the Mortgage Banking Expert for Large Bank Supervision and the Mortgage Banking Technical Expert for the agency’s policy division. In these roles, he helped lead the OCC’s Independent Foreclosure Review, as well as the mortgage foreclosure horizontal examination of several of the nation’s largest mortgage banking companies. He co-authored the OCC’s quarterly Mortgage Metrics Report and contributed to the OCC Mortgage Banking Examination Handbook. Mr. Krueger has provided technical expertise in formulating interagency mortgage banking policy for federally-regulated financial institutions, served as the lead OCC mortgage banking examiner at several large national banks, and was Examiner in Charge of a regional bank. He also has extensive experience in commercial credit, including Shared National Credit review, as well as bank asset-liability and liquidity management. Mr. Krueger earned a bachelor of science degree in banking and finance from the University of North Dakota and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
