Biography
Carrie Kingston, a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC, brings seven years of experience in advising clients on tax matters related to federal and state research and development tax incentives. Ms. Kingston has worked on tax reviews ranging from sophisticated multi-year claims to more isolated consulting projects. She has also assisted with several IRC Section 199 domestic production activity studies. Ms. Kingston has advised numerous Fortune 500 clients across a variety of industries, including aerospace and defense, technology, industrial products and manufacturing. Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Kingston was a senior associate with the Research Credit Services team of KPMG. In this role, she helped to organize and served as a presenter at the firm's Account Methods and Credit Services Managers meetings in Orlando, Florida. Ms. Kingston earned a bachelor's degree in accountancy and computer information systems from James Madison University in Virginia. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
