Biography

Conor Johnston is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Houston, specializing in financial reporting, financial shared services and business process improvement. He focuses on a variety of industries, including food and consumer products, financial services and medical products. With more than seven years of consulting and industry experience, Mr. Johnston brings significant expertise in leading enterprise-wide initiatives focused on delivering corporate objectives and bottom line results for finance organizations. His experience includes order to cash and procure to pay business process improvement, financial organization design, shared service center planning and execution, financial consolidation and reporting vendor selection and implementation, functional business requirement collection and definition, technical design and requirements validation. Before joining A&M, Mr. Johnston was an associate in the CFO Advisory Services practice at Archstone Consulting, responsible for leading and delivering consulting engagements for clients across multiple industries. Mr. Johnston also held various positions with Sharpstown Manor Management where he led due diligence efforts on new property acquisitions and acted as the on-site property manager for apartment complexes in Texas and Arizona. He began his career with Pappas Partners, focusing on restaurant financial and operational management, including performance improvement. Mr. Johnston earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago.
