Biography
David Dutt is a Managing Director with more than 20 years of experience in business information technology (IT) consultancy, 14 of which have been at the partner level. Based in London, he has led a wide range of business technology assignments, specialising in large-scale, finance-driven transformation programmes, performance improvement, cost reduction and business intelligence (BI). Mr. Dutt has extensive experience in business transformation programmes supported by technology and has advised across a number of different industries. He has worked on implementations in North America, Europe and the U.K. Mr. Dutt has wide knowledge of change leadership, finance transformation, shared service transformation, risk management and IT strategy. He has deep board-level expertise in providing programme delivery for a number of large business IT transformation programmes. This includes providing independent assurance and advice throughout the entire BI / enterprise resource planning (ERP) system lifecycle, covering selection, design, implementation and benefit realisation. His clients have included UK Royal Mail, Pioneer Concrete International, Harley Davidson Europe, Premier Foods, SC Johnson, Nespresso, Lloyds Bank, Friends Provident and Direct Line Group.​ Mr. Dutt was awarded the Diamond Circle award by SAP AG in 2005 for his contributions to BI and ERP in the U.K., and in December 2006 he received a SAP (U.K.) award for his contributions in the area of governance, risk and compliance. He has lectured at Warwick University and is a regular speaker at SAP U.K. Mr. Dutt earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in economics and finance from Liverpool University.
