Biography
Erik Christianson is a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC in Miami, FL. His primary areas of concentration are income tax planning and compliance for individuals, trusts, estates and gifts, partnerships and S corporations. He also has knowledge in the area of international tax and estate planning for non-U.S. persons. With more than 17 years of experience, Mr. Christianson has utilized these skills in working with high net worth individuals over that period. In addition, he has utilized his experience in the area of financial planning by presenting various financial planning seminars during his career.Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Christianson spent over 17 years working with high net worth individual clients in the Personal Financial Services (PFS) group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston, MA and Miami, FL, where he most recently served as a Director, and in the PFS group at Arthur Andersen LLP in Hartford, CT. Mr. Christianson earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting at the University of Connecticut and currently holds a CPA license from the state of New Hampshire. He is also currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
