Etienne Leduc

Biography

Etienne Leduc is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Paris. He advises clients on performance improvement, information system implementation, post-merger integration and corporate finance. He is experienced in leading complex transformation programs with management teams across Europe and the United States. Mr. Leduc brings more than 25 years of business experience in financial transformation as a consultant and financial controller of international corporations. He has worked with companies across industries including packaging manufacturing, retail, consumer products and aerospace. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Leduc served as Partner at Deloitte and Senior Executive at Accenture, where he focused on performance improvement and led engagements including finance transformation programs. These initiatives were aimed at redefining the position of finance functions within organizations, improving operational efficiency of back-office functions, optimizing cash management and reinforcing performance management. Mr. Leduc also supported global and mid-cap companies from transformation plan development to implementation. His work included projects for Bio Alliance Pharma, JouéClub, Editis, Bleu Star Silicone, Boehringer Ingelheim France, Steria, Dassault Systèmes, Safran, Michelin, InBev, SNCF, Daimler, Auchan and Carrefour. Mr. Leduc also led carve-outs and post-merger integrations for clients including the Dassault Systèmes-PLM business of IBM, Kraft-Lu and Daimler-Chrysler. He defined target operating models and the information technology (IT) strategy, developed retention plans, identified operational synergies, and defined and managed integration plans. Mr. Leduc also managed independent business reviews, commercial due diligences, and operating and financial restructuring plans for midcap companies. Prior to this, Mr. Leduc held the role of Financial Controller with CarnaudMetalbox, the leading Franco-British packaging manufacturer in Europe. He was responsible for managing operational and financial performance of the plastics division. Mr. Leduc analyzed monthly performance and capital expenditure requests, defined and implemented actions for reducing selling, general and administrative (SG&A) costs and working capital, and improved management reporting. He also facilitated the budget and forecast processes, simplified financial guidelines and was involved in the post-merger integration between CarnaudMetalox and Crown Cork & Seal. Previously, Mr. Leduc Manager was a Manager in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen. He participated in financial due diligences, target screenings and restructuring plans for manufacturing and consumer business players. Mr. Leduc began his career as a Financial Controller of the German subsidiary of Grands Moulins de Paris.
