Biography
Jay Campbell is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Houston, TX. He specializes in operations with concentrations in business process design, operations management and Lean Six Sigma. With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Campbell has worked across clients to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs across their supply chain, reduce working capital and transform operations. He has advised clients across multiple industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, environmental services, private aviation and public sector.Mr. Campbell also served as an operating partner for a private equity company where he was responsible for transforming a company’s operations including: production scheduling and hours management, job costing, order to cash, procure to pay, financial reporting, quality, safety, performance management process and implementing Lean principles. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Campbell worked for Deloitte Consulting in Houston, where he worked with Fortune 500 companies to improve their supply chains.Mr. Campbell earned an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. While at Darden, he received the William Michael Shermet Award, the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence, and was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. Mr. Campbell earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Washington & Lee University. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
